ON BETRAYAL

After experiencing what I had considered to be betrayal in various relationships in my life- suddenly it became so clear. I saw the pattern.

I had been betraying myself.

I had beeeeeeeen knowing. Everything that folks have violently revealed to me, was not new to me. Intuitively, I knew all along. It was just confirmed.

It is important for us to take responsibility for the energy we allow in our life, not to blame ourselves- but to break the cycles that permeate our lives.

I can no longer dishonor my intuition, because in doing so- I betray myself and contribute to the very cycle that ends up hurting me.
