Mónica Hurtado Torres
Founding Director
Mónica Hurtado Torres (she/her) is a Queer Xicana Indigena. She has over a decade of experience working with Black, Indigenous, Queer, Trans People of Color. Her spirit-led, heart work and love for our communities has resulted in a profound dedication to serving the BIQTPOC community. As the Founder and Executive Director, she aims to empower community members to embark on their journey towards healing and liberation.
Giselle Alejandra Muñoz
Associate Director
Giselle Alejandra Muñoz (she/her) is a Queer, Woman of Color born and raised in El Sereno, Los Angeles. Her roots lie in Zacatecas and Aguascalientes, Mexico where her family migrated from though they later relocated to Tijuana. Ale holds a Bachelor's in Communication from San Francisco State University. She is an intuitive, artist, and energetic healing practitioner committed to evolving and transforming through self-expression and healing. Giselle centers traditional healing practices as a means to nourish the spirit, heart, mind, and body. Her own journey and experience working with community, particularly youth and families, including individuals with disabilities, unhoused community members, and individuals with mental health challenges - led her to Colectivo Cihuateotl.
